EXPERIENCE:

We have established strategic alliances with medical centers, private practices, and various institutions, which, along with our home service, have allowed us to attend to many patients for their ultrasound evaluation in the city of Miami. Notably, our collaboration with the American University URBE since 2022 stands out. Through this partnership, we have ventured into the creation and implementation of innovative academic programs, aimed at training foreign physicians for their certification as diagnostic medical sonographers in the United States. In addition, we have developed educational programs specialized in emergency care, both prehospital and on cruise ships, aligned with the most recent regulations. Furthermore, we forge alliances with research organizations and technology partners to develop strategies that provide reliable solutions in line with the changing needs of healthcare professionals and patients.

Maria Daniela Cordero, MD, M.Sc, RDMS, RVT
Educational Director

Dr. Maria Daniela Cordero is a renowned radiologist and sonographer with degrees from Venezuelan universities and credentialing from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. She is a pioneer in diagnosing patients with permanent synthetic fillers and contributed significantly to this field, including co-authoring a specialized book and developing the "ECOMARCACION" ultrasonic technique. Currently, she serves as the educational director at Echosonomovil in the U.S., where she also practices sonography and coordinates courses for ARDMS accreditation.

Carolina Malave, MD, M.Sc, RDMS

Academic Coordinator

Dr. Carolina Malave is a Venezuelan physician specialized in Diagnostic Imaging, trained in Venezuela and further specializing in MSK Sonography in Spain. She has experience as the Head of Imaging Services at the Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Venezuela. In the U.S., she obtained certification in medical diagnostic sonography from ARDMS and joined Echosonomovil Corp in 2022 as a Sonographer and Teacher. Currently, she serves as the Academic Coordinator at Echosonomovil Education, overseeing preparatory courses for ARDMS accreditation aimed at healthcare professionals.

Jessica Lucero, MD, M.Sc, RDMS
Clinical Coordinator

Jessica Lucero, a graduate from Venezuela in Medicine with a specialization in Radiology (UCLA), has been the head of various Diagnostic Imaging services in Venezuela. She currently works as a Sonographer at Echosonomovil Corp since 2021 and is part of the teaching team at Echosonomovil Education, where she develops and coordinates courses and training in abdominal specialty for foreign doctors, Ultrasound Technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Idania Irastorza, MD, M.Sc, MEd, Eds, DHSA, ARDMS

Teaching Coordinator

Dr. Idania Irastorza is a highly qualified healthcare professional and educator from Venezuela with extensive experience in medical sciences. She holds numerous academic degrees, including a Doctorate in Medicine, a Master's in Higher Education, dual specialist degrees in Pharmacology and Medical Sciences, and a Doctorate in Health Services Administration. She has also contributed to medical research through her publications. In the United States, she has been an instructor for nearly 20 years in Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) at the university level. Dr. Irastorza is part of the faculty at Echosonomovil Education and is noted for her innovative teaching methods, inspiring her students to continue their education in the field of medical sonography.

Luis Alvares, MD, M.Sc, RDMS, AE

Instructor of Echocardiography

Dr. Luis M. Alvarez, a Cuban medical professional, has extensive training in cardiology and intensive care from institutions in Havana, Cuba. He expanded his qualifications in the U.S., obtaining certifications as a Medical Assistant, Electrocardiography Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician, and recently became a Registered Nurse. Dr. Alvarez has practiced as a Cardiologist and Intensivist in Cuba, Venezuela, and Guatemala, and has educated over 7,000 students globally through digital platforms. He is currently ARDMS certified in Echocardiography and is a member of the teaching staff at Echosonomovil Education, teaching cardiac ultrasound to national and international medical and health personnel.

Pablo Dominguez, MD, M.Sc, RDMS, RVT

Instructor of Vascular

Dr. Pablo Dominguez, a Venezuelan physician who graduated from UCLA in 1992, specialized in Diagnostic Imaging with a focus on General Ultrasound and Vascular Doppler. He has an extensive career, including his role as Director of Postgraduate degrees in General Ultrasound and Vascular Doppler in Venezuela for eighteen years. He completed a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Philadelphia University Hospital in 2007. Dr. Dominguez is ARDMS certified, has worked in vein treatment in Manhattan, volunteered during the pandemic in New York, and is currently a member of the Echosonomovil Education teaching staff as a Vascular Instructor.

Luzmila Mendoza, MD, M.Sc, RDMS

Instructor of OB/GYN

Dr. Luzmila Mendoza is a Venezuelan surgeon and obstetrics and gynecology specialist, who graduated in 1992 and specialized in 2002, with a Master's in Higher Education Health from the Venezuelan University (ULA) in 2015. After moving to the U.S., Dr. Mendoza obtained a Medical Assistant Certificate in 2021 and ARDMS certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in ObGyn, Fetal Malformation, and Fetal Echocardiography. With extensive experience in her field, she currently works at Levin's Women's Health Wellness Center in the U.S. as a sonographer, and as an instructor for Echosonomovil Education in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound courses.

Marieva Camacho, MD, M.Sc, RDMS

Instructor of Ultrasound Scanning Protocols

Marieva Camacho, a physician and radiologist trained in Venezuela, graduated in 2001 and specialized in Radiology in 2005. She holds a Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Radiodiagnostics from the U.S. (2015) and is ARDMS accredited in multiple sonography disciplines. With over 20 years of experience, including 8 years in the U.S., she is well-versed in various types of ultrasound scanning protocols for patients in the United States. Camacho also specializes in 2D Shear Wave Elastography, EVLT, and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. She currently serves as a teacher at Echosonomovil education, training doctors, sonographers, and other healthcare personnel in American ultrasound scanning protocols.
